I just bought a new drum set and wanted to take care of it. I decided to try these because they seemed well made. I have used this case for three gigs as well as to and from rehearsals and I absolutely love it. Inside is a generous amount of padding that is plush like a sheepskin seat cover. I put my bass drum with the tom mount lined up where the two zippers meet and it fits perfectly. the zippers are very heavy duty. I wish the handle was actually a little smaller but it too is very sturdy and has additional padding they makes it easier to grip. There are also handles on either side of the drum. While more expensive, after 3 gigs this case has already paid for itself because I know my bass drum will not get damaged when moving it to and from gigs or rehearsals. I highly recommend this case to any drummer who gigs a lot or just wants to take care of their equipment.
