Outside: 8/10. Love the hard fiberglass shell, good quality handle, latches. Backpack straps are comfortable, but I wish it came with a shoulder strap as well. Key doesn't work so well, but I don't use that anyway.Inside: 5/10. It's just your average compact case, the lower joint and bell need to stay together, and it's not the best quality (molded styrofoam covered by thin velvet). I love the padded divider in the upper lid to keep music in, nice leather tabs/snaps, but there isn't nearly enough small accessory storage space. Could do with more padding on the divider to keep the joints, especially the barrels, snug in their slots, since they tend to get jumbled if you don't tightly pack in the sheet music area. All in all, I'd recommend this, but I'd say you need to add some more padding to the inside upper lid to really protect your horns. I've gone and ripped out all the inside foam and replaced it with a suspension-style system like a Marcus Bonna case, and there's now room for plenty of accessories, but it's still a pretty decent case out of the box.Amazon seems to have combined the reviews for all Crossrock clarinet cases: single, double, fiberglass and ABS. This rating is about the FIBERGLASS DOUBLE case. As with all compact cases, the bell and lower joint must remain attached to fit in the case, but I do not consider this a drawback, as it's the tradeoff you consciously make for a more compact case. The only real shortcoming is lack of storage space for accessories - reeds, reed-making tools, etc - but this is not a significant enough shortcoming in my opinion to give the case less than 5 stars. I have two of these cases - black and blue - and the colors and materials are outstanding.I have had this case for about 2 months. I needed to replace my Buffet double case. I travel extensively, and carry 2 different brands of instrument in this case, as well is an iPad Pro 12.9 in the case. This case travels great, has s relatively small footprint, seems very durable so far, and looks great! And, when I bought It at $199, it was a steal compared to other cases of similar make. So keep an eye out, as the price will likely fluctuate. I highly recommend! This case really exceeded my expectations. This is a plain white fiberglass case that hold both an A clarinet and a Bb clarinet. The colored ones were up to twice the cost so this was a deal! There is enough room for all the basics. My only minor concern is that the lower joint and bell must be connected to fit into their respective cutouts. I like to keep them separate so they don't "freeze" together and then I have to put more pressure to undo the connection.
